Moving fuel to the front has always cost lives. In Afghanistan, the U.S. Army recorded one casualty for every 24 fuel convoy missions in some years. In Ukraine, fuel convoys are prime targets for artillery and drones, and the response has been to move logistics to robots. In March 2026 alone, Ukrainian forces carried out more than 9,000 unmanned ground vehicle missions, and the country plans to procure 25,000 ground robots this year.
The SUNS 15 kWh three-phase Energy Hub is designed for this new kind of logistics. It is compact enough to ride on an unmanned ground vehicle and powerful enough to run three-phase field equipment. Heated batteries keep it working in deep cold, and it can be charged from solar, the grid or a generator. That means power can be delivered where it is needed without putting a driver or a fuel convoy at risk.
